“My behaviour won’t change until I decide that I will take consistent action
to change it. It’s not up to anyone but me each and every day.”
Jayson Gaddis, The Relationship School
The change that is often referred to is about understanding the deeper meaning of life, which includes relationships. The Dragonfly’s scurrying flight above water represents going beyond what’s on the surface and looking into the deeper implications and aspects of how we relate to those around us and to the world.
The Dragonfly’s iridescent wings and body symbolizes the discovery of one’s own abilities by unmasking the real self and removing the doubts you can cast on your own self-worth. Almost 80 per cent of the Dragonfly’s brain is dedicated to its sight and they can see in all 360 degrees. This symbolizes the uninhibited vision of the mind and the ability to see beyond our conditioning empowering us to love all parts of ourselves and others.
